قوم عاد النبي هود الأحقاف

من يتدبر ويقرأ آيات وسور من القرآن الكريم يرى أنها تكلمت عن قصص الأنبياء عليهم الصلاة والسلام، مثل قصة آدم ونوح وصالح وإبراهيم وموسى وعيسى ويوسف عليهم السلام وغيرهم من الأنبياء والرسل.

والذي يتتبع لآيات القرآن الكريم يجد أنها تناولت قصصاً كثيرة منها قصص الأنبياء والتي ذكرت في أكثر من موضع، وذلك لحكمة وموعظة للجميع وتذكير المؤمن دائما بعاقبة المكذبين من الأمم السابقة، وليبقى في حالة خشية من الله تعالى وخوف من عذابه.

ومن أشهر هذه القصص قصة نبي الله هود عليه السلام مع قوم عاد والذين سكنوا في جنوب شبه الجزيرة العربية وتحديدا بين سلطنة عمان واليمن منطقة حضرموت والتي تدعى الأحقاف.

وسواس الشيطان

بعد أن مضي عهد نوح عليه السلام ومرور أعوام وراء أعوام، كانت لا تزال هناك جماعات قليلة من المؤمنين الذين ورثوا عنه الايمان ومشوا علي طريقه مخلصين، وكانت هذه الجماعات المؤمنة تعيش في سعادة وهناء تشيد البنيات وتحيا بخير وأمان,

إلا أن الشيطان جعل يوسوس لضعفاء هذه الجماعة ويقول لهم كذباً: «يجب ألا تنسوا آباءكم الذين أنجاهم الله من الطوفان لأنهم كانوا قوماً مؤمنين ويجب عليكم أن تخلدوهم وتمجدوهم وذلك بأن تقيموا لهم التماثيل وتقدموا لهم القرابين، حتي لا تكونوا خائنين لعهودهم».

إنتشار الشرك والوثنية

وكان هؤلاء القوم الذين وسوس لهم الشيطان هم أبناء عاد ويعرفون بقوم هود عليه السلام، وكانوا يسكنون ما بين اليمن وعمان في المنطقة التي تعرف بالأحقاف، وكانت أرضهم تتفجر بالينابيع والعيون وتزدهر بالزروع والاشجار.

وكانوا يتميزون بالقوة والطول الشديد، وبدلاً من أن يعترفوا بفضل الله عليهم ويشكروا نعمته، فقد أغواهم الشيطان وأعمي قلوبهم فأطاعوه وأقاموا الأصنام والتماثيل ورفعوا الأوثان في ديارهم وعبدوها من دون الله.

ولم يكتف قوم عاد بالرجوع إلي الوثنية فقط بل ساروا وراء الفساد والطغيان، حتي انتشر بينهم الظلم وانقلبت حياتهم رأساً على عقب.

دعوة النبي هود

ومن رحمة الله سبحانه وتعالي أنه أراد أن يظهر لهم طريق النور والإيمان ليعودوا إلي الحق فأرسل إليهم النبي هود عليه السلام رسولاً من أنفسهم ليردهم إلي طريق الصواب ويعيدهم إلي الصراط المستقيم.

وكان النبي هود عليه السلام من عائلة متوسطة النسب في قوم عاد ولكنه كان أكرمهم خلقاً وأرجحهم عقلاً وأكثرهم علماً فاختاره الله سبحانه وتعالي ليكون أميناً علي رسالته ويدعو قومه إلي العودة للحق والإيمان بالله تعالي وترك عبادة الأوثان.

وكان النبي هود عليه السلام يحاول بكل قوته أن يرد هؤلاء القوم عن عبادة الأوثان والأصنام وعن الظلم والمعاصي إلي طريق النور والأيمان والحق وعبادة الله سبحانه وتعالي وحده لا شريك له.

وظل علي ذلك مدة طويلة من الزمن، ولكنهم لم يعودوا إلى رشدهم بل قابلوا دعوته بالسخرية والاستهزاز، فتبرأ منهم وأنذرهم بعذاب أليم سوف ينزله الله عليهم.

عدم الإستجابة

لم يستجب قوم عاد إلى النبي هود وأصروا علي عنادهم وطغيانهم، ورغم كل هذا لم تفلح دعوة هود عليه السلام مع قومة فراحوا يسخرون منه ويقولون له: «ما هذا العذاب الذي تتوعدنا به والذي تقول إننا سنلقاه؟ نحن لا نهتم بوعيدك وإن كنت صادقاً فأتنا بما تعدنا فلسنا خائفين من ذلك».

أدرك النبي هود مقدار عنادهم وإصرارهم علي الكفر، ومرت فترة على ذلك حيث انقطع خلالها نزول الأمطار فجفت الأنهار ويبست الأشجار والزروع، وماتت بعض الحيوانات من شدة العطش.

سحابة سوداء

توجه نفر من قوم عاد إلى أرض الحجاز وتحديدا مكة الكعبة المشرفة يطلبون من الله أن ينزل عليهم المطر, طبعا هم يعبدون الأصنام ولكن أغلب قبائل الجزيرة العربية يرون أن الكعبة المشرفة لها القدسية.

فأصبحوا ينتظرون هطول المطر بفارغ الصبر، ثم ظهرت في السماء سحابة سوداء فخرجوا من بيتهم فرحين وهم يظنون أن اصنامهم قد استجابت لهم واستبشروا بالأمطار التي سوف تحمل الخير والرزق لهم.

العذاب

فجاءهم النبي هود عليه السلام ينذرهم أن هذه السحب فيها العذاب والانتقام الذي استعجلوه ولكنهم لم يلتقتوا إليه بل سخروا منه.

وفجأة رأوا حيواناتهم وامتعتهم تحملها رياح قوة وتقذف بها فامتلئت قلوبهم بالرعب والخوف وأسرعوا يحتمون في بيوتهم،

فنزل البلاء والعذاب في ديارهم وتهدمت عليهم وبدأ الموت يحصدهم حصداً حتى لم يتبقى منهم أحد, ونجى الله النبي هود والذي آمنوا معه من العذاب وهم قليل.

Prophet Hud

Whoever contemplates and reads verses and surahs from the Noble Qur’an will see that they spoke about the stories of the prophets, peace and blessings be upon them, such as the story of Adam, Noah, Saleh, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Joseph, peace be upon them, and other prophets and messengers.

The one who follows the verses of the Noble Qur’an will find that they dealt with many stories, including the stories of the prophets, which were mentioned in more than one place, for wisdom and admonition to all, and to remind the believer always of the punishment of the liars from the previous nations, and to remain in a state of fear of God Almighty and fear of His punishment.

Among the most famous of these stories is the story of the Prophet of God Hood, peace be upon him, with the people of Aad, who lived in the south of the Arabian Peninsula, specifically between the Sultanate of Oman and Yemen, the Hadhramaut region, which is called Al-Ahqaf.

Satan's obsession

After the era of Noah, peace be upon him, passed and years passed after years, there were still a few groups of believers who inherited the faith from him and walked on his path sincerely.

However, Satan made whispers to the weak of this group and tells them falsely: “You must not forget your fathers whom God saved from the flood because they were a believing people and you must immortalize and glorify them by erecting statues for them and offering them sacrifices, so that you will not be disloyal to their covenants.”

The spread of polytheism and idolatry

Those people who were whispered to them by Satan were the sons of Aad and they were known as the people of Hud, peace be upon him, and they lived between Yemen and Oman in the area known as Al-Ahqaf, and their land was bursting with springs and springs and flourished with plants and trees.

And they were distinguished by strength and great height, and instead of acknowledging God’s grace over them and thanking Him for His grace, Satan deceived them and blinded their hearts, so they obeyed him and set up idols and statues and raised idols in their homes and worshiped them instead of God.

Not only did a people return to paganism, but they followed corruption and tyranny, until injustice spread among them and their lives were turned upside down.

Prophet Hood's call

It is from the mercy of God Almighty that He wanted to show them the path of light and faith so that they would return to the truth, so the Prophet Hud, peace be upon him, sent to them a messenger from themselves to lead them back to the right path and return them to the straight path.

The Prophet Hood, peace be upon him, was from a family of medium lineage among the people of Aad, but he was the most generous of them in character, the most intelligent of them and the most knowledgeable, so God Almighty chose him to be faithful to his message and call his people to return to truth and faith in God Almighty and to abandon idolatry.

The Prophet Hood, peace be upon him, was trying with all his might to turn these people away from the worship of idols and idols and from injustice and disobedience to the path of light, faith and truth and the worship of God Almighty alone without partner.

He remained on that for a long period of time, but they did not return to their senses, but rather met his call with ridicule and mockery, so he repudiated them and warned them of a painful punishment that God would inflict on them.

Not Responding

A people who returned to the Prophet Hud did not respond and insisted on their stubbornness and tyranny. Despite all this, Hud’s call, peace be upon him, did not succeed with a group of people, so they mocked him and said to him: “What is this torment that you threaten us with and that you say we will meet? We do not care about your promise, and if you are honest, then bring what you promise us, we are not afraid of that.”

The Prophet Hood realized the extent of their stubbornness and insistence on unbelief, and a period passed on that, during which the rains stopped, the rivers dried up, the trees and plants dried up, and some animals died of thirst.

A group of people went back to the land of the Hijaz, specifically Mecca, the Kaaba, asking God to send rain on them. Of course, they worship idols, but most of the tribes of the Arabian Peninsula believe that the Kaaba has sanctity.

So they were eagerly waiting for rain, then a black cloud appeared in the sky, so they left their house happy, thinking that their idols had responded to them and rejoiced over the rain that would bring good and blue to them.

So the Prophet Hud, peace be upon him, came to warn them that these clouds contain the torment and revenge that they hastened, but they did not meet him, but rather they mocked him.

Suddenly they saw their animals and their belongings being carried by strong winds and tossed with them, so their hearts were filled with terror and fear, and they rushed to take shelter in their homes.

So calamity and torment descended on their homes and they were destroyed, and death began to reap them until no one was left of them, and God saved Prophet Hud and those with whom they believed from torment while they were few.
