يوم السبت غدا في مراسم تجري في قصر سانت جيمس في العاصمة لندن أمام هيئة مراسم تُعرف

وتتكون الهيئة من أعضاء مجلس الخاص بالملكة

أن العديد من الملوك والملكات البريطانيين قاموا بتغيير أسمائهم عند توليهم العرش،
من ذلك جد تشارلز الذي اختار أن يصبح لقبه الرسمي "الملك جورج السادس" رغم
أن اسمه الأول كان ألبرت.
وأضاف السكرتير الصحفي أنه كان يمكنه اختيار
واحد من أسمائه الوسطى حتى يستخدمه كلقب رسمي للملك مثل وهو "فيليب"، أو
"آرثر"، أو "جورج", فيما اختار الملك الحالي الأمير تشارلز لقب
"تشارلز الثالث".

The inauguration ceremony of the new British king, Prince Charles, and why did he choose the title of Charles III? The eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II, Crown Prince Charles, became Britain's King, with the title Charles III, following the announcement of Queen Elizabeth's death.
