The story of the king and the poor or the woodcutter and the grave is one of the beautiful, wonderful and useful stories about the horrors of the grave on the first day, and it is among the stories of the Islamic heritage or heritage that may not be true, but it is closer to reality than to imagination.

It tells in the old days that there was a king who ruled a country and had authority and a great king, and before his death the king made a strange commandment to his sons, which is that when he dies, he is not buried in the grave on the first night, but someone else is buried in his place in his place because he believes that he will save him from the trial of the grave and the question of the two kings for him.

king of the world

As the king of the world, and then the king actually died, the sons began to implement the will, so they searched in the palace between the servants and the soldiers who would be buried instead of the king and for one night only, and in return for that a large and tempting amount of money, but they did not find anyone to sleep the first night in the grave.

And in whose grave? With the tomb of the king, who wishes upon death to be a king in this world, yes, but after death no one wishes to be in the place of the king.

They searched and searched, but they did not find anyone, but they insisted on carrying out the commandment. After a hard search, they heard about a very poor and destitute man who works as a woodcutter and has 9 sons and does not find anything to feed them or wear them, and he has nothing in this world but his sons and a donkey.

In addition to an ax and a sickle to cut the wood, they asked him, and in return for the large amount, he refused the tempting request, so they returned and repeated the request and doubled the important amount, so he agreed and said the woodcutter: I am alive, I did not die, and the angels will not ask me about the king’s deeds, but about my deeds.

Tomb first night

And in the end, it is only one night, and in the early morning, they take me out and give me the amount, and I go on my way and live in the shadow of the money that I take, and my children and my wife enjoy and I rest from poverty, fatigue and misery, and the woodcutter was buried instead of the king.

In the early morning, they came to him to take him out of the grave and give him the money, but the unexpected surprise happened, and do not think that the woodcutter has died, but he did not.

refuse to take money

After the woodcutter was buried and spent one night in the grave that only God knows, they came to him in the morning to take him out and give him the money as they had agreed upon.

But he refused to take the money. They told him you did not refuse the money, and it is your right. This money is your right. Take it and have mercy on yourself and your children from poverty, fatigue and misery, and live the rest of your life comfortable, comfortable, smooth and luxurious.

He said, How can he take the money when I have in my whole life nothing but an ax, a sickle and a donkey, and yesterday two men came to me asking me from the first thing you put me in the grave.

The question of the two kings

And the questions were from where did you get this donkey, and in what land did your donkey graze and whether the owner of the land allowed you to enter your donkey into his land and graze and eat from the grass.

Where did you get this ax and where did you find the money until I bought it and the sickle where did you find it and where do you get firewood and are you allowed to wood and cut trees and cut trees and how much do you sell it to whom you sell it and how do you sell it.

How and to whom? If all I have is a donkey, an axe, a sickle, and a whole night they ask me about them, then what would my situation be if I took all this money, for God is poor and destitute, more merciful than the king of the world.
