في آخر تطورات الإقتصاد اللبناني, رسميًا لبنان تعلن إفلاسها والحكومة تستغيث وتستنجد في وقف الخسائر, وسوف يجري توزيع الخسائر على الدولة وبنك لبنان والبنوك والمودعين.

حيث أعلن  الأستاذ سعادة الشامي، نائب رئيس الحكومة اللبنانية «إفلاس الدولة ومصرف لبنان المركزي»، وقال إنه سوف يجري توزيع الخسائر على الدولة ومصرف لبنان والمصارف والمودعين, حتى حل هذه القضية.

وقال في تصريحات أخرى نقلتها قناة العربية الإخبارية: «سوف يجري توزيع الخسائر على الدولة ومصرف لبنان والمصارف والمودعين، ولا توجد نسبة مئوية محددة».

وأضاف سعادة الشامي: «للأسف الدولة مفلسة وكذلك مصرف لبنان، ونريد أن نخرج بنتيجة، والخسارة وقعت بسبب سياسات منذ عقود، ولو لم نفعل شيئا سوف تكون الخسارة أكبر بكثير».

وتابع أيضا: «هناك حقيقة لا يمكن تجاهلها ولا يمكن أن نعيش في حالة إنكار ولا يمكن أن نفتح المسحوبات (المصرف) لكل الناس وأنا أتمنى ذلك لو كنا في حالة طبيعية».

وفيما يخص مفاوضات صندوق النقد الدولي قال: «نحن في خضم المفاوضات مع صندوق النقد الدولي وعلى اتصال يومي مع صندوق النقد، ولأول مرة تأتي هذه البعثة الكبيرة وقد أحرزنا تقدما كبيرا مع مفاوضات صندوق النقد الدولي».

In the latest developments in the Lebanese economy, Lebanon officially declares bankruptcy and the government is calling for help to stop losses, and the losses will be distributed to the state, the Bank of Lebanon, banks and depositors.

Mr. Saadeh Al-Shami, Deputy Prime Minister of the Lebanese Government, declared “the bankruptcy of the state and the Central Bank of Lebanon”, and said that the losses will be distributed to the state, the Banque du Liban, banks and depositors, until this issue is resolved.

In other statements, reported by Al Arabiya news channel, he said: "Losses will be distributed to the state, the Banque du Liban, banks and depositors, and there is no specific percentage."

His Excellency Al-Shami added: "Unfortunately, the state is bankrupt, as is the Bank of Lebanon, and we want to come out with a result, and the loss occurred due to policies decades ago, and if we did nothing, the loss would be much greater."

He also continued: "There is a fact that cannot be ignored, we cannot live in a state of denial, and we cannot open (bank) withdrawals to all people, and I wish that if we were in a normal state."

Regarding the IMF negotiations, he said: "We are in the midst of negotiations with the International Monetary Fund and in daily contact with the IMF. For the first time, this large mission comes and we have made great progress with the IMF negotiations."
