أظهرت شركة أمازون للتجارة الإلكترونية عبر الكشوفات المالية حجم خسائرها المالية في الربع الأول من عام 2022 والتي بلغت 8. 3 مليار دولار.

وهي نفس الفترة التي حصدت على أرباح بلغت 8.1 مليار دولار خلال نفس الفترة من العام الفائت، مدفوعة باستثماراتها في شركة ريفيان لتصنيع السيارات الكهربائية، إذ خسرت شركة أمازون نحو 7.6 مليار دولار في استثماراتها في الشركة.

الشركات الإستهلاكية

وعلى ضوء ذلك تكبدت الشركات الإستهلاكية في أمريكا الشمالية والتي تتعامل مع شركة أمازون وعلى الصعيد الدولي، على الرغم من استمرار قسم الخدمات السحابية في النمو وجني الأموال.

ومع مواجهة جائحة كورونا ولكنها تراجعت، والتي سجلت أعلى مستويات التضخم في 4 عقود الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.

حيث سجلت شركة أمازون يوم الخميس 28 أبريل أبطأ نمو ربع سنوي لها منذ سنوات وأول خسارة ربع سنوية لها منذ عام 2015.

وفي نفس الوقت إنخفض سعر السهم في فترة تداول جلسة الإغلاق يوم الخميس 28 أبريل في السوق الأمريكية بنسبة 9%.

ورفعت شركة أمازون سعر خدمة الاشتراك المتميز المعروف بخدمة ” أمازن برايم” كما فرضت رسوما إضافية على الشركات الأخرى التي تستخدم مستودعاتها الأمريكية.

تكاليف الإنتاج

وسجلت شركة أمازون إيرادات بقيمة 116.4 مليار دولار في أول ثلاثة أشهر من العام، مع زيادة 7% عن العام السابق.

وكان هذا أقل من النمو في الربع الأول من عام 2021 بنسبة 44%, وبلغت عدد المنتجات التي باعتها شركة أمازون في الربع ثابتًا مقارنة بالعام الماضي، وزاد أيضا تكاليف بيع هذه المنتجات.

التضخم في أمريكا

من ناحية أخرى استفادت شركة أمازون من جائحة كورونا عام 2020 و 2021 حيث إزداد الناس على التسوق الإلكتروني عبر الإنترنت.

ولكن مع انتشار اللقاحات والتضخم في المواد الإستهلاكية والذي وصل إلى 8.5٪ في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية شهر مارس الماضي، تغيرت السلوكيات مرة أخرى.
