We will tell you the story of three men, the leper, the bald, and the blind from the Children of Israel, which occurred during the time of the people of the Children of Israel.

Whereas the wisdom of God Almighty, the Exalted, the Majestic, the Majestic, required that a person’s life in this abode be a mixture of happiness and misery, joy and sorrow, wealth and poverty, health and disease, and this is the nature of worldly life and it fluctuates quickly.

human creation

These events are part of the trial and test for which God created man: {Indeed, We created man from a mixed sperm-drop. Great truth of God.

And God, Glorified and Exalted be He, afflicts His servants with adversity as He afflicts them with ease, and He has slavery over His servants in both cases, in what they like and what they hate.

The difference between a believer and an unbeliever

As for the believer, he does not despair at the time of calamity, does not despair at the time of distress, and does not rejoice at the blessing, but rather acknowledges God’s bounty and bounty, and works hard to thank her and fulfill her right.

As for the immoral and the unbeliever, he is separated in the face of calamity, and narrowed by adversity, so if God gives him what he desires, and bestows upon him His blessings, his disbelief and denial, and he does not acknowledge God for her, let alone know her right, and give her thanks.

Patience with affliction

Patience in the face of affliction is one of the greatest acts of worship that a believer performs, as God Almighty rewards the patient with a great reward, and compensates them according to the extent of their patience. God Almighty says: “Only those who are patient will be given their reward without measure.”

And no matter how long the affliction lasts, relief must come, and the affliction is purification and atonement for the believer, and God erases sins and sins through it, and it is evidence of God’s love for His servant.

That is why the believer must be patient and seek his command from God Almighty and not be anxious, and console himself with the stories of the righteous predecessors by being patient with affliction.

The story of the leper, the bald, and the blind

The story of the leper, the bald, and the blind man is a story that talks about three people from the Children of Israel, where each of these three suffered a calamity in his body and health.

This is because God Almighty wanted to test their patience with affliction, and to know who to thank and who to disbelieve, so God sent an angel to them, and the king came to the first man, a leper, and asked him about his wish.

leper man

The leper wished that the disease would go away from him, and that his skin would become good and his color be good, so God responded to him and removed the leprosy from him.

And asked him what he liked from money, he replied: camels, so he gave him a hundred pregnant she-camels, and prayed for him for the blessing of sustenance.

bald man

And the king went to the squash, and he wished that the squash would go away from him, so his squash disappeared and he had good hair, and asked him what he liked the most money, so he chose cows and gave him pregnant cows, and the king called him for the blessing of money.

blind man

Then he went to the blind man and asked him the same questions, so he wished God Almighty to restore his sight to him, so God gave him what he wished, and chose from the money the sheep, so he was given a pregnant sheep.

Exam date

Years passed for the three men, and God blessed all of these men with their money, and each of them became a valley with the type of money he chose, and one day the time of calamity came.

So the king returned to them, and showed him his image that he was on before so that they would thank God for his blessings, so he came to the first man in the form of a leper, a poor traveler, who was stranded.

And he asked him to give him a camel, but the man denied the blessing and did not give him, so the king reminded him of what he was upon, and he denied and denied, and claimed that he had left the money from their family, so the king called on him to return to his old condition if he was a liar.

The test of baldness and lepers

Then the king went to the bald man and the blind man and said to them the same as he said to the leper. He denied the bald man, as did the leper, but the blind man was a pious believer and acknowledged the grace of God upon him.

And he gave the questioner the freedom to choose what he wanted, and here the king told him the truth, and told him that God Almighty made the story of the leper, the bald, and the blind an example of affliction, and that God Almighty was angry with his two companions.

The contents of the story

This story includes, as well as its events, great meanings, the most important of which is that a person’s affliction is not only in distress, but also in prosperity and prosperity, and a person must be more vigilant when being afflicted with good than when afflicted with evil.

This story includes showing the difference between those who persist and those who are impatient, and also includes showing that some people are patient in adversity and not in prosperity.

This story confirms that blessings last with thanksgiving, and gratitude is based on several pillars, namely: acknowledging the blessing outwardly and inwardly, speaking outwardly, and spending it in what pleases God, and this preserves blessings from disappearance.

Prophetic hadith

The Messenger of God, the Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, narrates the hadith of the story of the leper, the bald.

And the blind, as it was reported on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that he heard the Messenger of God say: “There are three among the Children of Israel a leper, a leper, and a blind man, so God wanted to afflict them.

leper

So he sent an angel to them, and he came to the leper and said: What is the most beloved to you? He said: Good color and good skin, and he will remove from me that which people have fouled me. He said: camels. He said: give a she-camel ashra.

squash

He said: May God bless you with it. He said: So he came to Al-Aqra’ and said: What is the most beloved thing to you? He said: Good poetry, and this will leave me that people have despised me. He said: Cows, so give a pregnant cow.

the blind

He said: May God bless you in it. He said: So he came to the blind man, and said: What is the most beloved thing to you? He said: That God restore my sight to me so that people may see with it. He said: So he wiped him and God restored his sight to him.

He said: Which money is the most beloved to you? He said: Sheep, so I gave a sheep to a father, and these two produced and gave birth to this one. He said: This had a valley of camels, and this valley of cows, and for this valley of sheep.

A test from God

He said: Then he came to the leper in his shape and form, and he said: I am a poor man whose ropes have been cut in me during my travels, and I have no communication today except with God and then with you.

He said: The rights are many: He said to him: As if I know you, weren't you a leper that people slandered you? poor, so God gave you? He said: I only inherited this money from a senior, and he said: If you are a liar, then God will turn you to what you were.

The blind and bald test

He said: And he came to Al-Aqra in his picture, and he said to him the same as what he said to this, and he replied to him the same as what he replied to this, so he said: If you are a liar, then God will turn you to what you were.

He said: He came to the blind man in his image and appearance, and said: A poor man and a wayfarer, the ropes were cut with me during my travels, so I have no communication today except with God and then with you.

God's punishment

I ask you by the one who restored your sight to you as a sheep that I can convey on my travels. He said: I was blind. God restored my sight to me, so take what you want and leave what you want.

By God, I will not burden you today with something that I have taken for God. He said: Hold your money, for if you were afflicted, He was pleased with you, and He was displeased with your two companions.
