حيث يعاني فريق مانشستر يونايتد من حيث النتائج خاصة في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، حيث لم يحقق سوى فوز وحيد في آخر 5 مباريات من الدوري.

مقابل تعادل واحد و3 هزائم ويحتل المركز السادس في جدول الترتيب مع رصيد 17 نقطة بفارق 9 نقاط عن فريق تشيلسي المتصدر.
