تعرض مواطن سعودي إلى عملية احتيال مالي عن طريق الهاتف تسببت في خسارته نصف مليون 500,000 ريال سعودي من حسابه البنكي في أحد المصارف البنوك المحلية في السعودية.

حيث قالت أحد المصادر الصحفية إن الضحية أعطى إلى متصل عبر الهاتف ادعى أنه يمثل البنك المحلي الذي فيه حسابه، بياناته البنكية ورمز التحقق السري الذي وصله برسالة نصية على هاتفه.

النصب والإحتيال

تلقى المواطن المخدوع اتصالا في الأسبوع الماضي من هاتف ثابت وعند رده، عرف المتصل مباشرة بنفسه على أنه موظف في أحد إدارة البنك الذي فيه حسابه.

وأخبره هذا الشخص  بأن حسابه بحاجة إلى تحديث بيانات لزيادة الأمان من الاختراق، ولذلك فهو بحاجة لتزويده برقم الآيبان والرقم السري للحساب البنكي.

وقالت مصادر صحفية إن الضحية أعطى للمحتال عبر الهاتف ادعى أنه يمثل البنك الذي فيه حسابه، بياناته البنكية ورمز التحقق الذي وصله برسالة نصية على هاتفه.

الخداع عن طريق الهاتف

وتلقى المواطن المخدوع اتصالا من هاتف ثابت وعند رده، عرف المتصل مباشرة بنفسه على أنه موظف بإدارة البنك الذي فيه حسابه، وأن لديه مشكلة في حسابه.

ووفق إلى ما ورد في صحيفة مكة أن الرجل منحه ما طلبه ثم بعد أقل من دقيقة طلب منه رقم الكود المرسل على جواله، ولم تمر ثوان معدودة حتى وصلت رسالة نصية للمواطن بتحويل جميع ما في حسابه وهو مبلغ 500 ألف ريال إلى حساب مؤسسة باسم امرأة.

ولقد قال المستشار القانوني عبد الرحمن آل شيبان عن هذه الواقعة وفقا للمصدر إنه يحق للضحية تقديم دعوى في المحكمة العامة ضد صاحب الحساب المحول له.

وإن كان داخل السعودية، يطلب طلبا مستعجلا يتم بموجبه منع المدعى عليه من السفر خارج المملكة ، طبقا لما نص عليه نظام المرافعات الشرعية ولائحته التنفيذية.

وتنص أنظمة المملكة العربية السعودية عن طريق لوائح مؤسسة النقد العربي السعودية ( البنك المركزي السعودي ) والبنوك المحلية السعودية.

إلى توخي الحيطة والحذر من أي إتصال سوى بالهاتف الثابت أو برسالة نصية, وأن على الشخص التوجه مباشرة إلى أقرب فرع لتحديث بياناته الشخصية عن طريق موظف مختص.

A Saudi citizen was subjected to a financial fraud by phone that caused him to lose half a million 500,000 Saudi riyals from his bank account in a local bank in Saudi Arabia.

One of the press sources said that the victim gave a phone caller who claimed to represent the local bank in which his account was held, his bank details and a secret verification code that he received by text message on his phone.

The deceived citizen received a call last week from a fixed phone, and when he answered it, the caller immediately identified himself as an employee of one of the bank departments in which his account is located.

This person told him that his account needs to be updated to increase security from hacking, so he needs to provide him with his IBAN and bank account password.

Press sources said that the victim gave the fraudster over the phone, claiming that he represents the bank in which his account is located, his bank data and the verification code that he received by text message on his phone.

Phone scam

The deceived citizen received a call from a fixed phone, and when he answered it, the caller directly identified himself as an employee of the management of the bank in which his account is held, and that he has a problem with his account.

According to what was reported in the Makkah newspaper, the man gave him what he asked for, and then less than a minute later, he asked him for the number of the code sent on his mobile phone.

And a few seconds did not pass until a text message arrived to the citizen transferring everything in his account, which is an amount of 500,000 riyals, to the account of a foundation in the name of a woman.

Legal Counsel Abdul Rahman Al Shaiban said about this incident, according to the source, that the victim has the right to file a case in the General Court against the account holder transferred to him.

And if he is inside Saudi Arabia, he requests an urgent request according to which the defendant is prevented from traveling outside the Kingdom, in accordance with the provisions of the Shari’a pleadings system and its executive regulations.

Saudi Arabia's regulations are provided by the regulations of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (the Saudi central bank) and Saudi local banks.

To be vigilant against any contact other than by landline or text message, and that the person should go directly to the nearest branch to update his personal data through a specialized employee.
