تلقت الصحفية من مكتب بي بي سي في القاهرة مكالمة هاتفية من متصل يدعي أنه أحد موظفي البنك المركزي المصري، ويريد تحديث بيانات العملاء، وذلك في محاولة واضحة للحصول على البيانات السرية إلى حساباتها البنكية بغرض الاحتيال.

وبنفس هذه الطريقة تقريبا، استولى بعض الأشخاص على نحو 2 مليون و700 ألف جنية مصري، وفقا إلى تصريح محمد الأتربي، رئيس بنك مصر، لأحد البرامج المحلية في مصر، مضيفا أن مثل هذه العمليات تكررت 13 مرة في الفترة الأخيرة.

التحذير من المكالمات

وقد حذر البنك الأهلي المصري عملاءه في بيان رسمي وعبر رسائل نصية، من عمليات الاحتيال تلك، أما بنك مصر فقد أكد أن البنك دأب خلال الفترة الماضية على إرسال رسائل نصية للعملاء.

وتحذرهم من هذه الرسائل والمكالمات التي تنطوي على احتيال من أشخاص يزعمون أنهم ينتمون إلى بنك مصر أو لأي من الجهات الحكومية، ويطلبون معلومات عن حسابات العملاء البنكية.

مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي

حيث ظهر انتشار مقطع فيديو إلى سيدة من مدينة سمالوط في محافظة المنيا في صعيد مصر ليدق ناقوس الخطر ضد عمليات الاحتيال البنكي الجديدة.

وتقول السيدة أنها تلقت اتصالا تليفونيا اعتقدت أنه من البنك الخاص بها، وأخبرت من خلاله أن البنك بصدد ربط بيانات حساباتها الشخصية مع الموقع الالكتروني الخاص في البنك.

عملية إحتيال سيدة مصرية

وتساءلت السيدة “من أين عرف هؤلاء المحتالون رقم هاتفي، أو أن لي حسابا في بنك كذا؟” وانتشرت على وسائل التواصل رسائل الاستنكار وأخرى تروي بعض الوقائع التي تشير إلي أن مثل هذه الواقعة تكررت، وهو ما أثار مخاوف البعض.

وقالت سهير الدماطي، الخبيرة المصرفية، إنه إذا شك العميل في أي عملية تجري في حسابه عليه أن يتوجه فورا إلى فرع البنك، مضيفة بأن فروع البنوك المصرية توسعت بشكل مذهل.

حسابات العملاء

وأكدت الخبيرة المصرية أن الاستهداف يتم للفئات الأقل وعيا، وقالت إن الأنظمة التي تستخدمها البنوك المصرية تُحدَث بشكل دوري، ولديها معدلات أمان عالمية، مؤكدة على أنه ليس من الطبيعي أن يطلب أحد بيانات سرية من العميل أيا كان.

وأكد محمد الأتربي، رئيس بنك مصر، في تصريحات صحفية أنه لم يحدث أي اختراق إلى حسابات العملاء في البنوك المصرية.

وأن هذا الموضوع لا يعدو كونه عملية احتيال على بعض العملاء عبر الهاتف, وأكد أن الودائع لدى البنوك مضمونة بالكامل من قبل البنك المركزي ومؤمنة تماما.

كيف يتم عملية الإحتيال

وأكد مجموعة الخبراء على أنه في مثل هذه العمليات يطلب أحدهم من عميل أحد البنوك رقم البطاقة البنكية الخاصة به، وأرقام المرور السرية أيضا.

ويجري المحتال عددا من العمليات البنكية من خلالها سواء تحويل من على الانترنت البنكي، أو عن طريق أي ماكينة صراف آلي عند حصوله على الأرقام.

ويؤكد الخبراء أن ما حدث مع السيدة  قد يكون عن طريق ماكينة الصراف الآلي حيث يضع المحتال أرقام البطاقة التي تلقاها من العميل، ثم يطلب من الماكينة عملية “صرف أو تحويل من دون بطاقة”.

زيادة الوعي

ثم يرسل البنك للعميل كلمة مرور من أربعة أرقام، ويتصل المحتال بالعميل على الفور ويطلب منه هذه الأرقام، ثم يجري عمليات سحب أو تحويل مباشرة، وعندها تكتمل عملية الاحتيال.

وأكد الخبراء على أنه لا بد من زيادة الوعي لدى الناس بشكل أكبر، وعدم إعطاء البيانات الخاصة لأحد مهما كان حتى ولو كان من داخل البنك نفسه.

وقالت الداخلية المصرية في بيان علي صفحتها على فيسبوك إنها ضبطت تشكيلا عصابيا تخصص في الاحتيال على المواطنين، ووجد بحوزته “11 هاتفا محمولا.

مواقع التسوق الإلكتروني

وقالت الداخلية في بيانها إن أسلوب الاحتيال هذا يتركز حول الحصول على بيانات بطاقات الدفع الإلكتروني الخاصة بالمواطنين من خلال خداعهم عن طريق الاتصال بهم وإيهامهم بأن هناك تحديثا في بيانات البنك.

وأوضح البيان أنه بعد ذلك تجرى عمليات تحويل للعديد من المحافظ المالية الإلكترونية الخاصة مع شركات المحمول العاملة بالسوق المصري.

إضافة إلى إجراء عمليات شراء سلع مع بمبالغ مالية كبيرة على مواقع التسوق الإلكتروني بهدف إعادة بيعها، ولمنع تتبع مسار الأموال المسروقة.

The woman says that she received a phone call that she thought was from her bank, and she was told that the bank was in the process of linking her personal account data with the bank's private website.

Sohair Al-Damaty, a banking expert, said that if the customer doubts about any transaction taking place in his account, he must immediately go to the bank branch, adding that the branches of Egyptian banks have expanded amazingly.

The Egyptian expert confirmed that targeting is done to the less aware groups, and said that the systems used by Egyptian banks are updated periodically.

How does fraud work?

The fraudster conducts a number of banking operations through it, whether transferring from the online banking system, or through any automated teller machine when obtaining the numbers.

Experts confirm that what happened with the woman may be through an automated teller machine, where the fraudster puts the card numbers he received from the customer, then asks the machine to process “exchange or transfer without a card.”

Then the bank sends the customer a four-digit password, and the fraudster calls the customer immediately and asks them for these numbers, then makes direct withdrawals or transfers, and then the fraud process is completed.

The experts stressed that it is necessary to raise awareness among people more, and not to give private data to anyone, even if it is from within the bank itself.

In a statement on its Facebook page, the Egyptian Ministry of Interior said that it had seized a gang specialized in defrauding citizens, and "11 mobile phones" were found in its possession.

In its statement, the Ministry of Interior said that this fraud method is centered around obtaining citizens' electronic payment card data by deceiving them by calling them and telling them that there is an update in the bank's data.

The statement indicated that after that, transfers are made to many private electronic financial wallets with mobile companies operating in the Egyptian market.

In addition to making purchases of goods with large sums of money on online shopping sites with the aim of reselling them, and to prevent the tracking of stolen funds.
