كوباياشي مخرج حفل إفتتاح أولمبياد طوكيو

أفادت الأخبار أن اللجنة المنظمة لأولمبياد طوكيو لعام 2020 قد أقالت مخرج حفل الافتتاح قبل ساعات من انطلاق الحفل غدا الجمعة.

ويأتي ذلك على خلفية عمل شارك فيه المخرج عام 1998 وظهر فيه وهو يسخر من المحرقة التي راح ضحيتها ملايين اليهود خلال فترة الحكم النازي في ألمانيا, أثناء الحرب العالمية الثانية.

حيث قدم كوباياشي وهو مخرج الإحتفال عبر بيان اعتذاره عن الفيديو قائلاً: "في شريط فيديو صدر عام 1998 لتقديم كوميديين شباب تضمنت مسرحية هزلية كتبتها سطوراً غير لائقة على الإطلاق".

وقال أيضا "كان ذلك من وقت لم أتمكن فيه من تلقي الضحك بالطريقة التي أريدها، وأعتقد أنني كنت أحاول جذب انتباه الناس بطريقة ضحلة".

تصريح رئيس اللجنة

وفي سياق آخر صرح رئيس التنفيذي للجنة المنظمة للأولمبياد توشيرو موتو قائلا إن البرنامج الافتتاحي بأكمله سوف يعاد النظر فيه مرة أخرى.

وأفادت وكالة أنباء "كيودو" اليابانية بأن سخرية كوباياشي من الهولوكوست ظهرت في مقطع فيديو مؤخرًا, وهذا الأمر جعل من مسؤولي منظمة الألعاب الأولمبية في حرج.
