The US space agency (NASA) has unveiled the most powerful rocket in the world, called the Space Launch System, or SLS, and these vehicles are expected to carry humans to the moon during this decade.

Last Friday, engineers at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida completed fixing the main body of the rocket, which is 65 meters (212 feet) long, between two smaller rockets.

The most powerful missile in the world

This is the first time that the three basic components of the missile have ever been combined in this way, the BBC reported.

The components of the rocket, the space launch system, come from a giant main part.

Which includes propellant fuel tanks and four powerful engines, and on its sides are two solid rockets, each 54 meters long.

Where this mobile platform will provide the ability to test, inspect and maintain the giant space launch rocket, as well as transfer it to the platform from which it will be launched to the moon.

Mice born in space

A scientific study showed amazing results from a scientific experiment conducted between space, specifically in the International Space Station, and between the planet Earth, which resulted in “young space,” according to the description of the sources.

Scientists from Japan confirmed that rat sperm were exposed to high levels of cosmic radiation, during their stay frozen for six years on the International Space Station, which produced a group of young called "Space Juniors".

A study published last Friday in the journal Science Advance confirmed that newborns are in good health and have not had any health problems until the time of writing the article.

The future of organ transplantation

Good and happy news: A team of scientists succeeded in transplanting human liver tissue, the first of its kind using 3D printing technology.

That can treat future astronauts who will one day live on Mars or the Moon, in addition to treating patients in general through organ transplantation.

This is what was mentioned in a report in the newspaper “Daily Mail” that scientists from the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine.

At Wake Forest University in North Carolina, built a cube-shaped tissue capable of working for 30 days in the laboratory, after printing was used Three-dimensional stem cells.

Liver components

The liver is made up of a network of channels designed to maintain adequate levels of oxygen and nutrients that keep the created tissues alive for as long as possible.

Not only can this 3D-printed tissue treat astronauts, it can also be used for patients waiting for an organ transplant. Instead of relying on donors, patients' replacement organs may be printed before transplants.

On the other hand, Lynne Harper, project manager at NASA's Ames Research Center, said that the value of the printed synthetic tissue depends entirely on how well it mimics what is happening in the body.

and "Harper" added that the requirements are precise, and differ from one organ to another, Which makes the task very precise and complex
