بي تي اس وجوائز بريت
فرقة ”BTS“ أول فرقة كورية
تترشح إلى جوائز ”بريت“ لعام 2021 ضمن حفل الجوائز الذي يعتبر واحدة من أرقى حفلات توزيع الجوائز الموسيقية
في بريطانيا.
حيث أعلن حفل جوائز بريت الموسيقية يوم 31 مارس
(آذار) عن أسماء المرشحين لعام 2021، وتمكنت فرقة BTS الكورية
الجنوبية من أن تصبح أول فرقة كورية يتم ترشيحها إلى جوائز بريت.
وصنفت فرقة BTS بأنها أفضل فرقة
عالمية وسوف يكونون في مواجهة ضد فرق Foo Fighters و Run the Jewels
و Haim وFontaines DC
وفي نوفمبر (تشرين الثاني) الماضي، فازت
فرقة BTS، المكونة من سبعة أفراد، وأربع جوائز في حفل جوائز
إم.تي.في للموسيقى الأوروبية، من بينها جائزة أفضل أغنية عن أغنيتها “ديناميت”، وجائزة
أفضل فرقة.
وأغنية “ديناميت” أول أغنية غنت باللغة الإنكليزية مع فرقة BTS وقد حققت ما يقارب من 34 مليون استماع مباشر على الإنترنت في أمريكا، والمبيعات بلغت 300 ألف نسخة في أسبوعها الأول، مما جعل “بي.تي.إس” أول فرقة كورية تتصدر أول مرة قائمة بيلبورد المائة الأمريكية للأغاني الفردية.
بي تي اس والعنف ضد الآسيويين
شاركت الفرقة الكورية الشهيرة BTS في حملة Stop Asian Hate والتي يتم
تداولها على المواقع التواصل الإجتماعي، وذلك بعد وقوع جرائم قتل في ولاية أتلاتنا
الأمريكية، حيث أدانت الفرقة التمييز العنصري والعنف في بيان رسمي للفرقة، معبرة عن
حزنها وغضبها في نفس الوقت.
وأصدرت فرقة BTS الكورية
بياناً لإدانة العنف والعنصرية ضد الآسيويين على خلفية الأحداث التي وقعت في الولايات
المتحدة مؤخراً التي استهدفت متاجر آسيوية، وأدى إلى وفاة أشخاص من أصول آسيوية لأسباب
أشارت موقع وقناة BBC أنها قد تتعلق مع جائحة
كورونا.
وشاركت الفرقة في حملة «أوقفوا كراهية الآسيويين»
أو Stop Asian Hate والتي تم تداولها على مواقع
التواصل، وذلك بعد وقوع جرائم قتل في ولاية أتلاتنا الأمريكية، حيث أدانت الفرقة، اليوم
الثلاثاء الماضي، التمييز العنصري والعنف في بيان رسمي للفرقة.
وأعربت بي تي إس في بيانها الرسمي الذي
رُفع باللغتين الكورية والإنجليزية في حسابهم في تويتر: «نعبر عن مواساتنا العميقة
إلى من فقدوا أحباءهم, تحملنا إهانات دون سبب وسخرية من مظهرنا، وسألنا البعض لماذا
يتحدث الآسيويون باللغة الإنجليزية».
العنصرية والبيان
وأضافت الفرقة أيضا في بيانها: تجربتنا
ليست بقسوة ما حدث لآخرين خلال الأسابيع الماضية, ولكن هذه التجارب كافية حتى تشعرنا
بانعدام الحيلة وضعف احترام الذات, ما نقوله واضح، نحن نقف ضد التمييز العنصري وندين
العنف, جميعنا لدينا الحق في الحصول على الاحترام, وسنقف معا.
وأشارت الفرقة الكورية إلى أنهم إحتاجوا
وقت أطول ليقرروا كيفية التعبير عن رسالتهم، موضحين أن "ما يحدث الآن لا يمكن
فصله عن هويتنا كآسيويين".
حيث تتعرض أربع نساء من أصل كوريا
الجنوبية، وامرأتان من أصل الصين، مصرعهن في حوادث إطلاق نار مختلفة في ولاية جورجيا
الأمريكية في منتجعات صحية شرق آسيوية، والذي تعتقد موقع «بي بي سي» أنه يعود إلى جرائم
عرقية تحمّل ذوي الملامح الشرق آسيوية مسؤولية تفشي جائحة كورونا، والتي إنتشرت في
الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية موخرا.

BTS and Brit Awards

BTS and the Violence Against Asians Campaign
The famous Korean band BTS participated in the Stop Asian Hate campaign, which is circulating on social media, after the murders in the US state of Atlanta, where the band condemned racial discrimination and violence in an official statement of the band, expressing its sadness and anger at the same time.
The Korean group BTS issued a statement condemning the violence and racism against Asians, against the background of the recent events in the United States that targeted Asian stores, and led to the death of people of Asian origin, for reasons that the BBC website and channel indicated may be related to the Corona pandemic.
The group participated in the "Stop Asian Hate" campaign, which was circulated on the communication sites, after the occurrence of murders in the US state of Atlanta, where the group condemned, last Tuesday, racial discrimination and violence in an official statement of the band.
"We express our deepest condolences to those who lost their loved ones. We endured insults without reason and mockery of our appearance, and some asked us why Asians speak in English," BTS expressed in its official statement, which was uploaded in Korean and English to their Twitter account.
Racism and the statement
The group also added in its statement: Our experience is not as cruel as what happened to others during the past weeks, but these experiences are sufficient to make us feel helpless and low in self-esteem. What we are saying is clear, we stand against racial discrimination and condemn violence, we all have the right to receive respect, and we will stand together. .
The Korean group indicated that they needed more time to decide how to express their message, explaining that "what is happening now cannot be separated from our identity as Asians."
