The excitement continues in March, and Poco is the latest company to introduce us to new devices. And as expected, we have seen the official debut of the Poco X3 Pro powered by a combination of the Snapdragon 860 processor and the brand's new flagship - the Poco F3, which shares its hardware with the Redmi K40.
Poco X3 Pro
The Poco X3 Pro appears to be the same as the Vanilla Poco X3 with cameras and LEDs in its X configuration. The biggest difference is the new processor family - reportedly a slightly improved version of the 7nm Snapdragon 855 Plus with the same octa-core CPU and Adreno 640 GPU.
In front of the device we are looking at a 6.67-inch Full HD Plus LCD screen and a single hole in the middle for the 20-megapixel f / 2.2 camera. The board supports 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
At least on the logic, the camera setup on the Poco X3 Pro isn't as impressive as the Poco X3. Xiaomi equips the phone with a 48MP main camera with a 1/2 inch sensor, f / 1.8 lens, and 8MP ultra-wide with 119 ° FoV.
There are also two 2MP sensors for macro shots and a depth sensor, but we know that they hardly make a difference. The Poco X3 Pro comes with a 5160mAh battery, matching the X3 NFC instead of the 6000mAh capacity in the non-NFC version.
Behind it is an expanded copper heat shaft and multiple layers of
graphite designed to dissipate heat efficiently, and Poco has called LiquidCool
Technology 1.0 Plus. The battery supports 33W fast charging, and Poco included
the required adapter in the box.
The Poco X3 Pro will be shipped with MIUI 12 for Poco, based on Android 11. The phone will be available for sale in three colors - Phantom Black, Frost Blue and Metal Bronze.
The price of the phone with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage is 249 euros, while the price of the 8/256 GB phone is 299 euros / or 354.87 USD.
Poco F3
Fans of the Poco F series may be pleased with the presence of a new device in the lineup, but it is not an entirely new smartphone in its own right.
The phone shares its hardware with the Redmi K40 with two large camera holes on the back for 48MP main shots and an 8MP ultra-high-resolution camera. The front is the same too - a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The Poco F3 is powered by a Snapdragon 870 processor array combined with a 4,520mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The CPU core can reach 3.2GHz, and you also get the latest LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
This phone also has an X-axis vibration motor and dual Dolby Atmos speakers - one at the bottom and the other just behind the earpiece grille.
There's also a triple microphone array that can theoretically capture 360-degree surround sound and allow you to shoot videos with the Poco F3, while zooming in on the object in focus.
The Poco F3 will be shipped with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage or 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
There are three color options - Arctic White, Night Black, and Deep Ocean Blue with a beautiful Poco logo on the back. The price is 349 EUR / 414.21 USD or 399 EUR / 473.56 USD, depending on which memory option the user wants to choose.
